How can I increase absorbancy?

Washing diapers, prefolds, or inserts will increase absorbancy. Some manufacturers recommend 5 - 8 washings.

Why are my diapers leaking?

They could have detergent left from the last washing which can cause them to be less absorbant. We usually run ours through the wash again without soap.
